Sixteen new officials recently appointed to different positions at EIFORCES by the Head of State were installed on Tuesday, 17 November 2020 at the Awaé campus. This was during a ceremony presided at by Brigadier General André Patrice BITOTE, Director General of EIFORCES, on behalf of the Minister Delegate to the Presidency in charge of Defence, Board Chairman of EIFORCES (MINDEF/PCA).
On this occasion, the representative of MINDEF/PCA reminded the new appointees, as well as those kept at their various functions within the institution, of the significance of the Presidential Decree and Order of 9 October 2020. He urged everyone to resolutely put themselves into battle for the radiance of EIFORCES, so far a lead institution in terms of training and research in the fields of security and peacekeeping.
The installation of these officials took place in an internal context marked by the ongoing 7th Higher Degree of Security Studies (BESS) and the training course for Formed Police Units’ trainers. These strategic and tactical levels trainings respectively bring together 25 auditors and 29 police and gendarme trainees from fifteen African countries./-
