26 April 2023 marking the 3rd day of the EIFORCES study mission to Garoua was dedicated to visiting a training and two security institutions.
During the first stop at the Garoua Wildlife School, its Director, Mr. BABALE MICHEL, and his entire staff, allowed the trainees of the 12th Senior Staff Diploma of Security Forces to grasp the importance of this institution on biodiversity conservation issues in Africa.
Then, at the Garoua 2 Gendarmerie Company, Captain NDZONO ATANGANA, a former EIFORCES laureate, presented to his guests the specificities of this unit, notably the mechanisms that enable it to carry out its mission effectively.
Finally, at the 4th Rapid Intervention Battalion, Colonel NDIKUM AZIEH, commander of the said formation, presented to his visitors the scope of its mission with emphasis on securing the wildlife heritage of the BOUBA DJIDDA park./-
