The Higher Degree of Security Studies (BESS) crosses into second decade.
On 4 October 2024, Brigadier General BITOTE André Patrice, Director General of EIFORCES, welcomed the 2024-2025 intake of 21 auditors from Cameroon, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali and Togo for a 10-month course at EIFORCES, during a solemn ceremony he presided over in Awaé.
This was indeed an ideal opportunity for the new EIFORCES alumni to be immersed in operational and strategic thinking, the bread and butter of their training, through the inaugural lecture on peacekeeping delivered by Professor Joseph Vincent NTUDA EBODE of the University of Yaoundé II.
The ceremony, which took place in the presence of the representative of the Director of the International Relations Institute of Cameroon, EIFORCES’ partner in this elite training programme, also marked the beginning of the second decade of BESS, which now opens its 11th chapter.
