On the supreme instruction of His Excellency Paul BIYA, President of the Republic of Cameroon, Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, Supreme Commander of the Police Forces, a delegation from the International School for Security (EIFORCES) led by the Director General, Brigadier General BITOTE André Patrice, shall undertake two international studies missions to Libreville, Gabon and Tokyo Japan, respectively from 27 to 31 May, and from 2 to 9 June 2019.
These research missions fall within the scope of academic activities of the ongoing 5th Higher Degree for Security Studies (BESS) in Yaounde, and 8th Security Forces Staff Diploma (DEMPF) at Awaé in Mefou and Afamba Division.
The international outreach has a two-fold abjective: first, to strive toward exposing EIFORCES to the outside world, strengthen its international status, and develop its partnership network within the framework of training and research; and second, to affirm EIFORCES’s recognition for its quality cooperation with Japan.
As for Police or Gendarme Officers from Congo, Mali, Niger, Togo and Cameroon, this move has a major impact, the completion of their overall perception of Africa and the World, by deepening their knowledge of national, sub-regional and international structures set up in the countries visited that play a part in internal and global security.
