TRAINING FOR PROVOST MISSIONS EIFORCES DELIVERS ITS 4th CROP OF GRADUATES

On Friday, 11 October 2024, twenty freshly graduated gendarmes and police officers from four African countries including Cameroon, Congo, Guinea and Morocco, received their certificates from Brigadier General André Patrice BITOTE, Director General of EIFORCES, during a solemn ceremony organised for the purpose.

This was an opportunity for EIFORCES leader representing the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of Defence, Chairman of the Board of Directors, to remind the laureates of their noble and delicate mission in the theatre of domestic or peacekeeping operations. In a context marked by numerous violations of human dignity, the provosts play a special role in the search for lasting solutions.

Recommendations were made to them that, like their predecessors, they should carry the EIFORCES label high in Africa and throughout the world, thereby justifying its status as a Centre of Excellence of the African Union.

As part of the partnership between France and EIFORCES, the fourth session of the Provost training course was held from 23 September to 11 October 2024.

During these three weeks, the trainees were able to fully appreciate the realities of Provost missions from every angle, particularly in PSO theatres.
